Installation

If necessary, miter cuts are made at a 45-degree angle at the joints. Only high-strength polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive should be used for bonding; silicone or similar flexible fillers must never be used for gluing. The adhesive is applied to both the top/bottom contact surfaces of the column and the parts resting against the wall. For heavy and large models, mechanical fastening using screws is mandatory. After installation, screw heads and joints are sealed with a high-quality exterior filler. Once the filler dries, the surface is made completely smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper. Care Information
<p>Maintenance of decorative columns made of rigid polymer material is extremely easy. The non-porous, closed-cell surface structure prevents dust and dirt from penetrating the material. For routine cleaning, using a slightly damp, soft cloth is sufficient. Harsh sponges, wire cloths, or chemical cleaners containing abrasive acids/alcohol that could scratch the paint must never be used. Since the water absorption rate is below 1%, there is no harm in contact with water during cleaning. For exterior applications, checking the surface once a year and washing away accumulated dust and environmental pollution with low-pressure water or neutral soapy water ensures the product retains its day-one vibrancy.
