Precast Ornamentation Elements

Precast ornamentation elements are decorative parts cast in moulds beforehand and used to embellish facades and interiors. They cover types such as window surrounds, cornices, bosses, brackets, medallions and sills. While traditional precast ornamentation elements are cement- or plaster-based, polyurethane elements offer the same motif in a lightweight material. The parts are cast in factory moulds and applied directly on site with mounting adhesive. Polyurethane is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted; this makes it more durable outdoors than plaster and timber equivalents. Mould production ensures ornamental details repeat identically on every part. Polure produces precast ornamentation elements in a range of motifs and sizes.
