Arched Window Casing Design

Arched window casing design is the process of deciding the casing profile, width and radius for windows with curved top edges, according to the window and the facade style. In the design, elements such as the curve of the window, the casing depth and the medallion on the arch face are evaluated together. Designs applied on classic and traditional facades are produced from polyurethane. The polyurethane material is light, and because the designed profile is mould-produced it runs evenly along the curve; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. It is fixed with adhesive and dowels, lighter and faster to apply than stone or wood. Polure produces arched window casing designs in different radius, width and profile options.
