Polyurethane Ottoman Coat of Arms Wall Panel Model
Details
The P1453 wall panel is a prestigious decorative element designed for both interior and exterior architectural applications, featuring the Ottoman Coat of Arms motif in deep relief craftsmanship. Created to serve as a striking focal point, this large-scale artistic piece infuses any space with a rich historical and cultural identity.
Offering a perfectly balanced scale on large wall surfaces with its net dimensions of 1050x960x50 mm, the panel is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-200 kg/m³). It is exceptionally lightweight compared to plaster or marble alternatives, adding no structural load to the building. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below one percent, maintaining its shape without expanding, shrinking, or warping within a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.
The design features the traditional state coat of arms set within an intricately detailed baroque frame. Classical elements such as sunbursts, banners, the imperial monogram (tugra), scales, and weaponry are brought to life by the 5 cm thick high-relief structure, maximizing the interplay of light and shadow. This deep texture animates flat walls, delivering a rich, multidimensional visual appeal.
With a wide range of applications, this decorative panel is highly favored in executive offices, hotel lobbies, fine dining restaurants, historical-themed venues, and residential living rooms. Due to its complete resistance to water and moisture, it can be safely installed in outdoor settings such as building entrances and villa facades, provided a proper protective topcoat is applied.
Delivered from the factory with a white primer coat, the surface is ready for the final paint. However, since paint manufacturers guarantee their own primers, applying an additional primer coat is entirely optional. Using Polure Polfix adhesive combined with mechanical screwing during installation ensures a secure, long-lasting application.
- This decorative relief panel offers a versatile range of applications for both interior and exterior spaces
- Indoors, it serves as a stunning focal point on the main wall behind executive desks, in hotel receptions and lobbies, wedding halls, fine dining restaurants, and residential living rooms
- Outdoors, it can be positioned as an artistic accent panel in villa entrances, facade niches, or under eaves
- To highlight the intricate 3D details of the design, we highly recommend installing focused spotlighting above or beside the panel
- The installation surface must be clean, dry, and smooth
- Apply Polure Polfix polyurethane adhesive to the back of the panel and position it on the wall
- Due to the product's size and weight, mechanical fastening with screws from discreet points is mandatory to secure it while the adhesive cures
- Cover screw heads and wall joints with acrylic filler
- Once the filler dries, sand it smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper
- After optionally applying an additional coat of primer, paint the panel with at least two coats of water-based or synthetic paint
- For exterior installations, using a UV-resistant exterior paint is strictly required
- The product can be easily cleaned using a soft, damp cloth
- To protect the detailed relief carvings from damage, avoid using abrasive chemical cleaners, stiff brushes, or high-pressure water
- While no extra maintenance is required for indoor use, panels installed on exterior facades should be checked periodically; repaint them if fading or wear occurs to prevent the material from direct exposure to UV rays
