Project data

Location: Gebze Year: 2023 Building type: Detached villa Facade composition: Modern surround profiles + pilaster columns + window crowns Product codes used: P1454, P1456, P1459, P1460, P14D30, P28120, P2839

Why was surround selection decisive?

The most repeated element on a villa facade is the window surround, so the profile width was chosen in proportion to the window width. When the inter-floor band and the surround come from the same thickness family, the facade keeps a consistent shadow line. Pilasters provided the vertical accent at the entrance.

Applying onto an existing facade

The elements were surface-mounted onto existing render: the surface was cleaned of dust, grease and loose paint, a PU-based mounting adhesive was applied in an uninterrupted bead and the parts were cross-screwed at the joints. The structural system was untouched; being light, polyurethane added no static load.

Repeating the same composition

The product codes above are in the catalogue. Share your window dimensions and a facade photograph and the required linear metres are calculated; the Quantity Calculator lets you make a preliminary estimate yourself. Goods are ex-works.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy the products used in this project?

Yes. The product codes used are in the catalogue (P1454, P1456, P1459, P1460, P14D30, P28120, P2839). A quotation is prepared from measurements and quantities.

Can it be applied to my existing villa later?

Yes. The elements are surface-mounted onto render from outside; the structural system is not touched and there is no demolition or rubble.

What is the difference between a pilaster and a full-round column?

A pilaster is a half-round form set against the wall; a full-round column is used in free-standing positions. Both are decorative and not load-bearing.
