There is no single list price for polyurethane decorative products: the price follows the section of the profile, the total linear metres or square metres, the level of model detail and the production method. This guide explains the cost items and the quantity calculation so you can estimate your budget before requesting a quote. Prices cover the product only; goods are ex-works.

1) Section and volume: the wider and deeper the profile, the more raw material per unit. Profile products (surrounds, cornices, skirting) are sold by linear metre. Number of openings × the perimeter of one opening gives the total length; roughly 10% waste is added for cutting and mitres, then the total is divided by the bar length (usually 200 cm) to get the piece count. Panels are calculated by area ÷ panel area. For columns, the piece count follows the 240 cm standard shaft, with capital and base as separate items. The comparison is not only about unit price. Because polyurethane is light it needs no structural strengthening or heavy equipment, and a single craftsman can install it, which lowers labour cost.
