This modern bedroom, embracing nature’s calming tones, stands out with its sage green walls and sophisticated polyurethane decorations. The prevailing soft light throughout the space merges with matte surfaces to create a relaxing atmosphere, while natural illumination from the windows highlights the deep paneling work on the walls. Featuring an architecturally balanced layout, the room offers a harmony of symmetry and asymmetry that presents both a classic and contemporary aesthetic. The light-colored wood texture on the floor breaks the coolness of the green tones, providing a warm foundation for the space.
Various profiles from the Polure collection have bestowed an architectural identity upon the room. Wide borders (P851350) forming the main frame behind the headboard and detailed thin molding profiles (P85002, P85003, P85008) inside create a three-dimensional texture on the wall surface. Complementary elements used at corner transitions and joints (P85010, P85015, P85016), along with decorative profiles providing top and bottom finishes (P85403, P85406), ensure a flawless appearance. Each piece maintains its form without being affected by humidity, thanks to its high-density polyurethane structure.
The precast polyurethane production technique preferred in this project eliminates the hassle of traditional plasterwork, offering smooth surfaces at factory standards. Moldings cut with millimetric precision using CNC technology facilitate the expert corner joints required during installation. Thanks to their lightweight structure, these products can be safely applied in sensitive areas like bedrooms and offer the advantage of being paintable in any color with water-based paints. This achieves visual integrity between the wall and profile colors, capturing a monochromatic elegance.
For those wishing to create a similar atmosphere, scaling according to ceiling height is critical when installing wall moldings. While wide panels are preferred for ceilings close to 3 meters, vertical moldings (such as P85002) will make lower spaces appear taller. You can integrate this design into an indirect lighting system by combining it with simple ceiling medallions or hidden light channels from the Polure collection. Linen textiles and organic-shaped accessories are the elements that best complement this geometric wall paneling style.
By using a color continuity strategy, the moldings and wall surfaces were coated with the same matte paint, making the play of shadows more pronounced. The vertical placement of rectangular panels emphasizes the room's vertical axis, increasing the perception of spaciousness. The large feather painting above the headboard serves as an organic focal point that softens the geometric lines. Frames positioned according to the golden ratio divide the wall into sections without tiring the eyes. Microscopic shadows formed at the edges of the moldings reveal the sharp lines and material quality of the polyurethane.
