Hidden Lighting Strip Models and Section Selection
Hidden lighting strip models are distinguished by the aperture through which the light emerges and the depth of the LED bed. The section heights of our profiles range from approximately 80–200 mm, with widths between 49–200 mm; the standard length is 2400-2440 mm. Longer lengths reduce the number of visible joints in the light line.
Three questions are sufficient when choosing a section: Is there enough bed depth to hide the LED strip, does the aperture provide the desired light character (narrow aperture for sharp lines, wide aperture for soft diffusion), and is the profile height proportional to the ceiling height?
When choosing hidden lighting models for living rooms, a continuous line circling the room is usually designed; the same logic applies to hallways, bedrooms, and display niches. In ceiling applications, the profile is placed at the junction of the ceiling and wall to achieve indirect illumination.
Products are manufactured at 150-220 kg/m³ (production target ~160 kg/m³) density, delivered with white 1K acrylic primer, and bonded directly with PU-based mounting adhesive; no framework is required.

Polure's wide temperature resistance between -100 °C / +80 °C guarantees that the profile geometry remains as it was on the first day, even in continuously operating lighting systems. Models with different width and curve options, such as P81374 and P81376, ensure that light reflects off the ceiling surface at a soft angle without refraction. The P81378 (200x97 mm) section, designed for large-scale commercial spaces, creates a sense of depth in high ceilings, while compact series like the P81321G (49x99 mm), produced for minimal designs, make hallways appear more spacious through shadow play.
High-Strength Polymer Technology as an Alternative to Plaster
The fragile structure of traditional plaster cornices leads to high waste rates and time loss on construction sites. Polure rigid PU hidden lighting elements show high resistance to impacts and do not break during transport and installation. Thanks to the factory-applied primer layer, surface smoothness is at a high level; it provides superior adhesion with water-based or synthetic paints. This achieves complete integrity with other wall and ceiling colors in the interior. Usage Areas
Hidden Lighting and Fixture profiles have a wide range of usage in both modern residential projects and prestigious commercial areas. They are preferred in ceiling pool designs in living rooms, vertical light lines behind headboards in bedrooms, and as linear directional lighting in hallways. Since the water absorption rate is below 1%, they are safely applied in bathroom ceilings, spas, and wellness centers without being affected by humidity. Large-section P81378 and P81991 models are integrated into hotel lobbies, restaurants, luxury offices, and gallery voids to emphasize ceiling height and create a prestigious atmosphere.
Installation
To achieve a flawless indirect lighting line, installation rules must be strictly followed. Surfaces to be applied must be clean, dry, and free of dust. Miter cuts at a 45-degree angle should be made at corner joints. SILICONE must never be used for bonding; high-strength PU adhesives like Polure Polfix should be preferred. After the profiles are bonded, it is MANDATORY to mechanically fix them with the help of screws. Screw heads and joints should be covered with high-quality putty and smoothed with 180-220 grit sandpaper after drying. A primer should be applied before the final coat of paint, and the process should be completed with at least two coats of paint.
Care Information
The maintenance of Polure lighting profiles is extremely practical. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it does not trap dirt and moisture. Using a slightly damp, microfiber cloth is sufficient for dusting. Abrasive chemicals or solvent-based thinners should never be used during cleaning. Clearing LED channels of dust once a year with a soft brush or compressed air will keep light efficiency at the maximum level.
