Neoclassical Corridor Decoration

Neoclassical corridor decoration is the symmetrical arrangement of transition areas such as corridors and halls with classical architectural elements. Panels and casings on the walls, cornices on the ceiling, and pilasters where needed give a narrow, long space rhythm and depth. Polyurethane elements are lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Impact resistance is important in high-traffic areas such as corridors; here polyurethane offers an advantage over plaster alternatives. Because it is mould-cast, the profile details repeat identically on every piece, which creates an evenly spaced order along the corridor.
