Classic Batten Design

Classic batten design is the dressing composition in which battens are planned in panel, frame and coffer layouts on wall and ceiling surfaces. By setting the width, spacing and corner transitions of the battens, symmetrical and well-proportioned surface divisions are created. Polyurethane battens are lightweight; they add no extra load to the surface and are applied directly with construction adhesive. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel and can be painted. Compared with timber alternatives, it does not absorb moisture or swell and installs quickly. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section repeats identically throughout the design. For classic batten design, Polure produces battens in a range of widths and profiles.
