Under-beam Console

An under-beam console is a console-form polyurethane decorative support element placed at the lower end of a decorative beam or at the facade-ceiling junction. In classical-style interiors it is used to make beam ends appear supported and to emphasise the beam-wall junction. With its S-curved console profile it creates a visual load-bearing effect. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied to the surface with mounting adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and is paintable. It is lighter than its wooden and plaster equivalents and is installed quickly by a single person. Being mould-cast, the console profile and details are identical on every piece. Polure produces the under-beam console in different size options.
