Exterior Facade Decoration Techniques

Exterior facade decoration techniques cover the methods followed to apply decorative polyurethane pieces to the facade correctly. These include surface cleaning, measuring, cutting, applying mounting adhesive, filling the joints and final painting. Since polyurethane pieces are lightweight, they can be carried by one person and fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive; heavy pieces are supported with wall plugs. The material resists moisture, sun and temperature change, does not crack or blister; once the joints are filled with filler, the surface is painted with facade paint. The standard dimensions of mould-cast pieces make joint connections and straight-line alignment easier. Polure produces the profiles used in exterior facade decoration in sizes and cross-sections suited to these application methods.
