Single-Storey Office
A single-storey office is an office building with its work areas arranged on one level. Polyurethane decoration can define the entrance facade with door and window surrounds, window sills, facade band mouldings and decorative column cladding. Inside the office, cornices, wall panels, ceiling roses, brackets and faux beam elements can be used. Cast polyurethane products have a density of 150-220 kg/m³ and water absorption below 1%. This closed-cell structure provides resistance to moisture and helps make the material lighter than plaster or wood alternatives. Polyurethane products are resistant to impact, can be painted with a suitable coating over the factory primer, and correct installation can limit the risk of cracking or blistering. Mould production ensures consistent dimensions and detailing across the same profile. Installation uses polyurethane mounting adhesive, with screws or wall plugs where required; silicone is not used. The product is decorative and is not intended to carry structural loads.
