Architectural Console

An architectural console is a curved polyurethane element that acts as a decorative support beneath a shelf, eave or projection extending from a wall. It is used as ornamentation and visual support between a wall and a horizontal element. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp and can be painted. Compared with a stone or timber console it is far lighter and can be installed by one person. Because it is moulded, the curve and ornamentation details repeat identically on every piece.
