Beam End Covering

Beam end covering is a polyurethane decorative cap used to conceal the visible ends of ceiling and roof beams. In interiors with faux wood beams and in soffit detailing, it covers the open beam section to give a clean finish. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike its wooden equivalent, it does not rot, attract insects or react to moisture. Since it is mould-produced, the profile and dimensions stay the same across all pieces, which makes the joints align well over long runs. Polure produces the beam end covering element with options suited to various beam sizes.
