Polyurethane Ceiling Coving
Polyurethane ceiling coving is a lightweight architectural decoration system that divides the ceiling surface with geometric recessed or relief panels. Used in salons, hotels, restaurants, retail shops, offices, and entrance halls to section the ceiling, define lighting zones, or add visual rhythm to existing surfaces. Cast polyurethane components have a density of 150–220 kg/m³, making them significantly lighter and easier to install than plaster or wood alternatives. The closed-cell structure keeps water absorption below 1%, providing excellent resistance to moisture and impact damage. Ceiling coving elements arrive factory-primed and can be painted any colour with water-based or synthetic finishes. Dimensional stability is tested across the range −20 °C to +70 °C. Installation uses polyurethane-based mounting adhesive; wider profiles may require mechanical fasteners or dowels for additional support. This product is decorative and does not serve as a structural ceiling system.
