Garden Office
A garden office is an office with a private garden or open area surrounding the workspace. Polyurethane decorative products can be used on garden-facing elevations as window surrounds, door profiles, window sills and string courses, and indoors as ceiling cornices, ceiling roses, wall panels and decorative beams. Cast polyurethane has a density of 150-220 kg/m³ and water absorption below 1%. These properties help with selecting a material suitable for exterior exposure to moisture. Because polyurethane is lighter than plaster and solid wood, it simplifies handling and installation; it is also resistant to impact and can be painted. With suitable detailing, the risk of moisture-related deterioration, cracking and blistering can be reduced. Moulded production ensures that decorative details and profile dimensions can be reproduced consistently. Products are fixed with polyurethane adhesive and, where necessary, screws or wall plugs. These elements are decorative coverings and do not carry structural loads.
