Classical Urn and Pedestal Sets in Landscape Architecture
\nPedestal display elements, used to achieve symmetry and vertical dynamism in landscape and interior designs, are essential components that elevate the visual value of any project. Designed with this philosophy, our Planter and Pedestal Set collection is crafted not just to hold plants, but to reinforce the architectural identity of your spaces. Manufactured using high-density rigid polymer technology, these products eliminate the weight and fragility issues associated with traditional concrete or marble alternatives while preserving the crispness of classical details. They are highly favored in professional projects to create striking focal points in entryways, lobby areas, and large-scale gardens.
\n\nHigh-Density Material Technology and Technical Specifications
\nOur products are manufactured using rigid polyurethane raw material with a density of 150-200 kg/m³. This density provides a surface hardness comparable to wood, while remaining lightweight enough for easy transport and installation on-site. Featuring a closed-cell structure, this material is completely unaffected by moisture, rain, and frost, thanks to its water absorption rate of under 1%. With a temperature resistance ranging from -20°C to +80°C, it maintains its shape and dimensional stability even under the harshest climatic conditions. Structural deformations such as shrinkage, expansion, and warping do not occur in this advanced formulation. Additionally, the material's flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties enhance safety in commercial and residential projects.
\n\nSize Options for Various Spatial Scales
\nDesigned for grand-scale projects and monumental entrances, the P5030BC Planter Set (475x475x1066 mm), stands over a meter tall, creating a dominant visual statement in large hotel lobbies, villa entrances, and spacious winter gardens. For more compact areas, narrow corridors, balcony corners, or restaurant foyers, the P5030BT Planter Set (337x337x607 mm) model serves as an ideal alternative. Both models are enriched with fine surface details, geometric lines, and classical reliefs. Thanks to computer-aided precision molding techniques, all profiles and details are exceptionally sharp and smooth.
\n\nSurface Preparation and Painting Guidelines
\nDelivered from the factory with a specialized primer coat, these planter sets offer a surface ready for excellent paint adhesion. Water-based or synthetic paints can be easily applied. However, as a technical guideline, while the factory-applied primer prepares the surface, paint manufacturers do not guarantee their products on surfaces where their own proprietary primers have not been used. Therefore, applying an additional primer coat is optional and entirely at the customer's discretion. Polure does not offer any warranty or assume liability for third-party paints used. For outdoor applications, the use of UV-resistant paints is mandatory to protect against the degrading effects of sunlight.
Usage Areas
Planter and Pedestal Sets serve as an aesthetic balancing element in both interior and exterior projects across a wide range of applications. Outdoors, they are placed symmetrically on both sides of main entrance doors in structures like hotels, villas, private residences, and restaurants. They are also preferred to provide vertical emphasis along the borders of large terraces, at the starting points of walkways, and in poolside landscaping. Indoors, they play an active role in displaying floral arrangements, positioned as decorative planter sets or classical flower stands in grand atriums, large reception areas, winter gardens, and stair landings.
Installation
Installing our Planter and Pedestal Sets is exceptionally practical compared to traditional stone counterparts. First, ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and level. Apply a high-strength, industrial-grade polyurethane (PU) construction adhesive to the base of the product and position it on the surface. Silicone adhesives must never be used during installation. To protect the product from wind and other external factors, mechanical anchoring with screws is mandatory. After securing, any screw holes and joints should be filled with an exterior-grade joint filler or putty. Once dry, sand the surface smooth using 180-220 grit sandpaper. Following an optional extra primer coat, complete the installation with two coats of paint.
Care Information
Thanks to their rigid polymer structure, maintaining these Planter and Pedestal Sets is effortless. A damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaners are sufficient to remove dust and environmental dirt. Avoid chemical solvents or stiff brushes. For outdoor products, we recommend repainting every few years depending on regional weather conditions to preserve the UV resistance of the paint.
