Column Relief
Column relief is a polyurethane architectural decoration element applied to column or pilaster surfaces, creating a raised embossed finish. Used in interior spaces such as entrances, lobbies, featured walls, retail stores, hotels, and exhibition areas to emphasize vertical surfaces. High-density cast polyurethane at 150–220 kg/m³ is significantly lighter than plaster or solid wood relief alternatives. Closed-cell structure ensures water absorption below 1%, making the material resistant to moisture and impact damage. Column relief is cuttable, adaptable, and paintable for custom finishes. Dimensional stability is validated across −20 °C / +70 °C test range. The product is non-structural; it is applied as a facing layer over concrete, steel, or other load-bearing columns. Factory-primed surfaces are secured with polyurethane mounting adhesive, supplemented by screws or anchors where required.
