Fireplace Side Corbel

A fireplace side corbel is a curved polyurethane console element that gives the appearance of supporting the top slab on the sides of a fireplace unit. It is used to create classic ornamentation and a supporting accent on the side edges of a decorative fireplace. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the curved details of the corbel repeat identically on every piece and two opposing corbels provide a symmetrical look.
