Polyurethane Decorative Niche

A polyurethane decorative niche is a polyurethane embellishment element that creates the look of a recess or framed cavity in the wall. It is used to frame the surround of cavities designed to hold objects, vases or lighting on the wall. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. Compared with a plaster niche it travels without breaking and installs faster, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the profile and embellishment details of the niche frame are identical on every piece. Polure produces the decorative niche frame in a range of sizes and patterns.
