Door Frame Surround
A door frame surround is a polyurethane decorative moulding that defines the perimeter of a door opening and regulates the transition between the wall and door. Suitable for entry doors, room doors, hotel corridors, shop entrances, and commercial building openings on both interior and exterior facades. Manufactured from high-density cast polyurethane with a density of 150–220 kg/m³, it is lighter and easier to handle and install compared to plaster, stone, or timber frames. The material resists moisture and impact; water absorption is below 1%. The frame arrives factory-primed and can be finished in water-based or synthetic paint according to the selected colour system. Dimensional stability has been tested across a temperature range of −20 °C to +70 °C. Installation uses polyurethane-based mounting adhesive; wider profiles may require mechanical support via screws or wall plugs. A door frame surround is a decorative element and does not serve as a structural frame or load-bearing component.
