Exterior Decorative Column
Polure exterior decorative columns deliver grand architectural beauty to building facades, entrance porticos, garden gazebos, and balcony supports. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these hollow decorative columns mimic classical stone masonry while offering high impact resistance and lightweight handling. Available in standard diameters of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 80 cm at a standard height of 240 cm, they feature full-round or half-wall (pilaster) configurations with smooth or fluted shafts. Their closed-cell formation limits water absorption to under 1%, safeguarding them against rot, swelling, mold, and freeze-thaw damage. Rated B2 for flame retardancy, they withstand temperature swings from -100 °C / +80 °C. Note that Polure columns are hollow and non-load-bearing; load-bearing structural support requires an internal steel pipe (never pour concrete inside). Installation uses continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on joint edges and mechanical countersunk screws.
