Waterproof Ceiling Border
Polure waterproof ceiling borders offer a seamless transition between walls and ceilings in humid environments such as bathrooms, spas, and kitchens. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these ceiling profiles deliver wood-like durability while remaining completely immune to moisture absorption (<1%). Unlike traditional plaster or wooden moldings, they will not swell, rot, split, or harbor mold spores when exposed to water vapor or steam. Certified with a B2 fire safety class and thermally stable from -100 °C / +80 °C, they guarantee structural integrity over decades. Factory pre-primed in white acrylic, installation requires continuous PU assembly adhesive applied to contact surfaces alongside mechanical countersunk screws. Fill joints and screw heads with acrylic sealant, sand smooth, and finish with water-based or synthetic paint.
