Wall Column Pedestal

Polure wall column pedestals form the foundational base for interior pilasters and exterior wall-mounted column assemblies. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these architectural plinths provide exceptional impact resistance and mechanical strength to protect column bases from foot traffic and mechanical bumps. The closed-cell material features water absorption under 1%, ensuring complete resistance against moisture, ground splash, mold, and rot. Rated B2 for fire safety and dimensionally stable between -100 °C / +80 °C, each pedestal arrives factory pre-primed with white acrylic primer. Installation is executed using continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on wall contact faces and floor seams, accompanied by countersunk mechanical screws. Fill screw holes with facade filler, sand with 180-220 grit, and finish with water-based or UV-resistant exterior paint.
