Polure spiral column wraps provide decorative helical architectural cladding for structural steel posts, concrete pillars, and standalone interior or exterior decorative columns. Molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these hollow decorative wraps recreate baroque twisted column craftsmanship with wood-like mechanical durability while adding minimal weight. Their closed-cell structure keeps water absorption under 1%, preventing rot, mold, or moisture warping. Fire-tested to Class B2 standards, they endure thermal exposure from -100 °C / +80 °C. Supplied factory-primed in white acrylic paint, they readily accept water-based or synthetic paints (exterior UV-resistant paint required outdoors). Important: these wraps are purely decorative and non-load-bearing; structural loads must be borne by an inner steel profile. Concrete must never be poured inside. Installation requires continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on joint faces and countersunk screws, followed by seam puttying and 180-220 grit sanding.
