Roman Column Base

The Roman column base by Polure provides classical architectural grounding and regal proportions for decorative interior and exterior column assemblies. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this hollow base element delivers wood-like structural strength while remaining lightweight for easy mounting. Note that Polure polyurethane column components are strictly non-load-bearing and decorative; structural support requires an internal steel profile. Concrete must never be poured inside the hollow body. Featuring closed-cell water absorption under 1%, it will not rot, swell, or mold in damp areas or outdoor settings. Certificated Class B2 for fire safety, it withstands temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C. Supplied with a factory white acrylic technical primer, outdoor applications require topcoating with an elastic UV-resistant exterior paint. Installation requires clean surfaces, continuous PU assembly adhesive on contact edges, and mechanical screws countersunk and filled with acrylic putty.
