Rigid Polymer Trim

Polure rigid polymer trim delivers crisp architectural framing and border protection for walls, doors, and ceilings. Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this moulding combines wood-like mechanical toughness with a lightweight structure that will not strain substrates. Featuring a closed-cell physical matrix, its water absorption rating stays below 1%, rendering it completely immune to swelling, rot, and mold growth in high-humidity zones like kitchens and spa areas. Rated to B2 fire safety standards and dimensionally unyielding from -100 °C / +80 °C, every strip arrives pre-primed in factory white acrylic. Installing requires clean, dry contact surfaces and sharp 45-degree miter joints created using a fine-tooth saw. A continuous bead of polyurethane assembly adhesive is required along all mounting faces and butt joints; silicone sealant is strictly forbidden. Mechanical fixing with countersunk screws ensures structural permanence. Screw heads and joints are filled with acrylic filler, sanded flat with 180-220 grit paper, and coated with water-based or synthetic paints.
