Paintable Wall Framing

Paintable wall framing by Polure allows architects and homeowners to custom-finish interior wainscoting and wall molding panels to complement any color scheme. Produced from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this versatile framing profile offers wood-equivalent mechanical strength while maintaining a lightweight profile. Its closed-cell composition ensures water absorption stays below 1%, protecting against rot, warping, and mold in moisture-exposed rooms like bathrooms and kitchens. Capable of withstanding thermal fluctuations from -100 °C / +80 °C without distortion, it features Class B2 fire safety certification. Delivered factory-primed with a uniform white acrylic technical primer, it is prepped for topcoat paints. Installation requires clean surfaces, precise 45° miter cuts made with a fine-tooth saw, continuous PU assembly adhesive on joining surfaces, and mechanical countersunk screws. Fill screw holes with acrylic putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and coat with water-based or synthetic paint.
