Overdoor Crown Molding

Polure Overdoor Crown Molding delivers sophisticated architectural framing for interior doorways, window heads, and decorative passage portals. Molded from rigid high-density polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this overdoor element offers wood-equivalent mechanical strength while remaining light for stress-free installation above openings. Featuring a closed-cell composition with water absorption strictly under 1%, it completely resists moisture rot, swelling, or mold growth. Rated B2 fire retardant and thermally stable from -100 °C / +80 °C. Installation requires applying a continuous bead of polyurethane assembly adhesive on wall contact edges and joinery seams, reinforced with countersunk mechanical screws; silicone adhesives are strictly forbidden. Screw indentations and seam lines should be filled with acrylic filler and sanded smooth using 180-220 grit paper. Factory-prepped with white acrylic primer, it accepts any standard water-based interior topcoat.
