Polure Column Bases

Polure column bases provide sturdy and elegant architectural foundation elements designed to anchor classical decorative columns and pilasters. Molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these hollow bases deliver timber-like impact durability and moisture resistance without adding heavy structural weight to floor surfaces. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they will never rot, swell, or absorb washwater in bathrooms or outdoor porticos. Operating reliably across temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C with Class B2 fire safety certification, each base comes factory pre-coated with white acrylic primer. Note that Polure column bases are strictly decorative non-load-bearing components; structural column loads must be supported by an internal steel profile anchored to the floor slab. Never pour concrete inside. Installation requires applying a continuous bead of polyurethane assembly adhesive on bottom contact faces and joining edges (silicone is strictly forbidden), secured with mechanical screws countersunk into the profile. Fill screw holes with putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and apply two coats of paint.
