Polyurethane Column Bases

Polure polyurethane column bases provide sturdy, moisture-proof, architectural anchor elements for decorative pillars and entrance columns across interior and exterior spaces. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these column base moldings offer wood-like mechanical impact strength while remaining lightweight to protect floor structures. Featuring a closed-cell composition with water absorption under 1%, they will not rot, mold, swell, or split when exposed to floor washing or ground moisture from -100 °C / +80 °C. Rated Class B2 for self-extinguishing fire safety, each base element arrives pre-coated with factory white acrylic technical primer. Designed as hollow decorative foundation covers, they encase internal structural steel cores. Installation requires continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive along contact faces, secured with mechanical countersunk screws. Fill seams with acrylic putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and finish with paint.
