Mantel Support
Polure Mantel Support provides architectural corbel support and ornate detailing for fireplace mantels, decorative shelf ledges, and interior wall projections. Precision-molded from rigid high-density polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this corbel element delivers wood-equivalent structural strength while remaining light for precise, gap-free installation. Featuring a closed-cell water absorption rate strictly under 1%, it will not warp, swell, rot, or mold when subjected to ambient heat. Rated B2 fire retardant and thermally stable up to +80°C (suitable for electric and vapor fireplaces; open flame forbidden). Installation requires applying a continuous line of polyurethane assembly adhesive on rear contact faces and joining seams, reinforced with countersunk mechanical screws; silicone adhesives are strictly forbidden. Screw indentations and miter seam joints must be filled with acrylic filler and sanded smooth using 180-220 grit paper. Pre-primed at the factory with white acrylic primer, it accepts any standard water-based interior paint.
