Large Architectural Plinth
The Polure large architectural plinth anchors grand columns, entryways, and facade pilasters with authoritative classical presence. Molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this substantial base delivers wood-like mechanical toughness without adding excessive weight to structural foundations. Note: Polure plinths are hollow, non-load-bearing architectural covers; structural loads must be carried by an internal steel column, and concrete must never be poured into the cavity. Featuring a hydrophobic closed-cell composition with water absorption under 1%, it remains impervious to rot, swelling, or mold in ground-level moisture zones. Resisting temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C with B2 fire safety class, it comes pre-primed in white acrylic. Mount using continuous PU assembly adhesive and countersunk screws.
