Doric Column Base

Polure Doric column base delivers historic classical proportion and structural dignity to interior pillars, porch columns, and facade porticos. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this classical base section offers wood-like mechanical durability while remaining lightweight to prevent floor overload. Featuring a closed-cell composition with water absorption under 1%, it will not rot, mold, swell, or split when exposed to standing ground water or severe weather from -100 °C / +80 °C. Rated Class B2 for self-extinguishing fire safety, it arrives pre-coated with factory white acrylic technical primer. Designed as a hollow decorative foundation wrap, it fits around structural internal steel posts. Installation requires continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on contact faces, paired with mechanical countersunk screws. Fill seams with acrylic putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and paint.
