Exterior Column Bases

Polure exterior column bases provide weather-resistant architectural foundation plinths engineered specifically for outdoor facade columns and entry porticos. Molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these exterior bases offer wood-like mechanical durability and hail resistance while eliminating heavy structural load stress on porch floors or foundation slabs. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they will never absorb rain, rot, freeze-thaw crack, or cultivate mold under severe weather exposure. Thermally stable from -100 °C / +80 °C and rated Class B2 for fire safety, each base comes pre-coated with factory white acrylic primer. Note that Polure exterior column bases are strictly decorative non-load-bearing components; structural column loads must be supported by an internal steel profile. Never pour concrete inside. Installation requires applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on contact joints (silicone is strictly forbidden), secured with mechanical screw anchors. Fill screw holes with facade filler, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and coat with elastic, UV-resistant exterior paint.
