Exterior Wall Accents

Exterior wall accents by Polure enhance building facades with architectural relief detail and weather-resistant elegance. Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these exterior mouldings exhibit wood-like impact strength and hail resistance without creating structural loads on exterior walls. Featuring a closed-cell composition with less than 1% moisture absorption, they will not rot, swell, or deteriorate under rain or frost. Operating stably from -100 °C / +80 °C, they carry Class B2 flame retardancy certification. Each accent element is supplied factory-primed with a technical white coating; applying an elastic UV-resistant exterior paint topcoat is mandatory to prevent UV discoloration outdoors. Installation requires clean dry surfaces, 45° miter cuts made with a fine saw, continuous PU assembly adhesive on wall contact faces and joint seams, and mechanical countersunk screws. Outdoor joints must also be screwed together. Fill screw holes with facade filler, sand with 180-220 grit, and coat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What density rating do Polure exterior wall accents possess?

Polure exterior wall accents feature a high-density rigid polyurethane construction rating of 150-220 kg/m³ (production target ~160 kg/m³), providing wood-like hail resistance and Class B2 fire safety.

How do exterior wall accents handle rain and freezing temperatures?

With water absorption below 1%, they will not absorb water, freeze-thaw crack, rot, or warp across -100 °C / +80 °C conditions.

What paint is required for exterior wall accents installed outdoors?

Outdoors, an elastic, UV-resistant exterior topcoat paint must be applied over the entire surface to prevent UV fading.

How are exterior wall accents secured on building facades?

Secure using continuous PU assembly adhesive and mechanical screws. Joints between outdoor pieces must also be screwed directly to each other.
