Custom Architraves

Polure custom architraves offer tailored profile dimensions and bespoke decorative motifs engineered for non-standard doorways and window surrounds. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³) via custom CNC molding, these architraves replicate specialized historical profiles with wood-like durability while eliminating warping or splitting. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they will never rot, swell, or cultivate mold in humid environments. Thermally stable between -100 °C / +80 °C with Class B2 fire resistance certification, every length arrives pre-coated with factory white acrylic primer. Installation onto doorway surrounds requires cutting 45° miter joints, applying a continuous bead of polyurethane assembly adhesive on rear contact faces and miter joints (silicone is strictly forbidden), combined with countersunk mechanical screws. Fill screw recesses and joint lines with acrylic putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and finish with two coats of paint.
