Exterior Facade Trim
Polure exterior facade trims provide sharp architectural contours for building exteriors, window surrounds, and eave overhangs. Molded from rigid high-density polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these exterior moldings withstand hail and physical storm impact without denting, vastly outperforming fragile EPS foam. Featuring closed-cell water absorption under 1%, they resist freezing, cracking, and rot from -100 °C / +80 °C. Pre-primed in white acrylic, they must be finished with UV-resistant exterior facade paint. Mechanical screw fastening and continuous PU adhesive are required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Polure exterior facade trim superior to EPS foam moldings?
With high density (150-220 kg/m³), it will not dent from hail or storm debris unlike soft EPS foam.
What temperature range can exterior facade trim endure?
It endures extreme thermal cycling from -100 °C / +80 °C without warping, shrinking, or cracking.
What paint is required for exterior facade trim?
An elastic, UV-resistant exterior facade paint matching the system primer must be applied.
How is exterior facade trim installed?
It is glued with continuous beads of PU assembly adhesive and mechanically secured with countersunk screws.
