Polure column plinths offer solid architectural square pedestals designed to support the bases of decorative columns and pilasters. Molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these hollow plinths provide wood-like mechanical durability and impact resistance while remaining light enough to eliminate structural floor loads. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they offer total protection against standing water, floor washings, and mold growth in kitchens, foyers, or outdoor verandas. Operating reliably across temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C with Class B2 fire safety certification, each plinth comes factory pre-coated with white acrylic primer. Note that Polure column plinths are strictly decorative non-load-bearing components; structural column loads must be supported by an internal steel profile anchored into the slab. Never pour concrete inside. Installation requires applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on contact joints (silicone is strictly forbidden) and securing with countersunk mechanical screws. Fill screw holes with putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and apply two coats of paint.
