Durable Panel Moulding
Polure durable panel moulding delivers high-impact resistance and long-lasting structural performance for interior wall paneling, corridor protection, and ceiling framing. Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this trim profile provides wood-like mechanical strength while remaining lightweight to prevent surface strain. Its closed-cell composition maintains a water absorption level below 1%, making it completely immune to swelling, rot, or mold in bathrooms, kitchens, and commercial hallways. Designed for operational stability from -100 °C / +80 °C, it possesses a B2 flame-retardant safety rating and comes pre-primed with a factory-applied white acrylic primer coat. Installation requires applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive along wall contact edges and securing with countersunk mechanical screws; silicone bonding is strictly prohibited. All joint lines and screw heads are filled with acrylic putty, sanded smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and painted with topcoats.
Frequently Asked Questions
What material is Polure durable panel moulding manufactured from?
Polure durable panel moulding is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), offering strong impact resistance, lightweight handling, and a B2 fire safety rating.
Is durable panel moulding moisture resistant?
Yes. With a closed-cell structure and water absorption below 1%, it will not warp, rot, or harbor mold in humid rooms.
How is durable panel moulding installed?
Apply continuous PU assembly adhesive to contact backs and secure with countersunk screws. Silicone is forbidden. Fill screw holes and joints with filler and sand smooth.
Do I need to sand the moulding before applying topcoat paint?
Yes, lightly sand the factory white acrylic primer with 180-220 grit sandpaper to ensure proper paint adhesion.
