Decorative Wall Transition Profile

Polure decorative wall transition profiles create clean architectural dividers and framing borders on vertical wall surfaces. Molded from rigid high-density polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these wall paneling and dado trim components offer high mechanical resistance against impacts and scratches. Their closed-cell polymer structure ensures water absorption below 1%, making them suitable for wainscoting in bathrooms and high-traffic hallways. Rated fire class B2 and thermally stable between -100 °C / +80 °C, all profiles are factory pre-primed with white acrylic primer. Installation is completed by cutting 45° miters, applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on joint faces, and mechanically securing with countersunk screws.

Frequently Asked Questions

What density material is used in Polure decorative wall transition profiles?

They are manufactured from rigid high-density polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³) for maximum durability.

Are decorative wall transition profiles resistant to moisture?

Yes, water absorption under 1% eliminates concerns of rot, swelling, or warping.

How are wall transition profiles installed securely?

Apply continuous PU assembly adhesive to contact faces, anchor with countersunk mechanical screws, fill, sand, and paint.

Why is silicone adhesive forbidden during installation?

Silicone lacks sufficient bonding power for high-density PU; specialized PU assembly adhesive is required.
