Decorative Plinth Block
Polure decorative plinth blocks add classic architectural refined transitions between baseboards and door casings or wall trim. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these wall blocks deliver exceptional impact resistance at floor level without denting, chipping, or splitting like natural timber. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they will not rot, swell, or harbor mold when exposed to floor washing or high humidity in hallways, bathrooms, and entrances. Resistant to temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C and rated B2 for fire safety, they arrive pre-treated with factory white acrylic technical primer. Secure attachment requires a continuous bead of PU assembly adhesive along wall contact points combined with direct countersunk screws. Lightly sand (180-220 grit) prior to applying topcoat paint.
