Decorative Column Support
Polure decorative column supports add classical architectural bracket elements, column caps, and decorative transition nodes to interior and exterior columns. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this column accent delivers timber-like mechanical durability while remaining lightweight to prevent wall or shaft strain. Featuring closed-cell waterproofing with less than 1% water absorption, it will not rot, warp, swell, or foster mold in humid interiors or exposed exterior environments. Operating reliably within temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C and certified with a B2 fire safety rating, every piece arrives factory-coated with a white technical acrylic primer. Note that polyurethane supports are strictly DECORATIVE and NON-LOAD-BEARING; structural loads require an internal steel frame. Install using continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on wall contact faces and joining edges, secure with countersunk mechanical screws, fill joints, sand (180-220 grit), and paint.
