Decorative Pilaster Capital

Polure decorative pilaster capital provides a beautifully detailed head for wall-mounted pilasters and decorative door surrounds. Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this flat-back capital exhibits hardwood-like mechanical strength and crisp ornament definition while eliminating heavy wall loading. Its closed-cell matrix holds water absorption under 1%, preventing rot, swelling, or mold in damp indoor areas and exterior facade applications. Class B2 fire-rated for self-extinguishing safety, it withstands thermal conditions from -100 °C / +80 °C. Shipped factory-primed in white acrylic paint, it readily accepts water-based or synthetic topcoats. Installation requires continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on wall contact faces and mechanical countersunk screws. Fill screw heads and joints with acrylic putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit, and finish with paint.
