Classical Pillar Base

Polure classical pillar bases provide structural visual grounding and classical plinth anchoring for architectural columns, porch supports, and wall pilasters. Formed from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these bases deliver exceptional mechanical impact resistance against lower wall kicks, vacuum cleaners, and outdoor lawn care equipment. Featuring a closed-cell matrix with water absorption under 1%, they will not absorb groundwater, rot, or swell when installed near floor levels or ground lines. Certified fire class B2 and thermally stable from -100 °C / +80 °C, each base arrives factory pre-primed with white acrylic primer. Installation is completed by applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive to bottom and rear contact faces, securing with mechanical screws, filling fastener heads with facade filler, sanding smooth with 180-220 grit, and painting with topcoat paint.
