Classical Facade Header

The Polure classical facade header is an architecturally imposing exterior crown designed to cap window surrounds and entrance doors with timeless dignity. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this facade element delivers impact resistance capable of withstanding severe hail storms and environmental wear. Polyurethane closed-cell technology restricts water absorption to under 1%, ensuring it will never swell, rot, or crack across temperature swings between -100 °C / +80 °C. Factory-finished with a white acrylic primer, it provides an ideal substrate for topcoat application. Installation involves preparing a dry substrate, cutting 45-degree miter ends with a fine-tooth saw, spreading a continuous layer of PU assembly adhesive along rear wall contact surfaces and joints, and anchoring mechanically with screws. Joint lines and screw recesses are filled with exterior filler, sanded smooth with 180-220 grit, and painted with UV-resistant exterior paint.
