Interior Bases
Polure interior bases provide refined architectural foundation plinths tailored specifically for indoor decorative columns, half-columns, and wall pilasters. Molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these hollow bases offer wood-like mechanical durability while remaining light enough to mount effortlessly without structural floor stress. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they offer complete moisture resistance and mold protection in kitchens, steam-filled bathrooms, and grand hallways. Operating reliably across temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C with Class B2 fire safety certification, each base comes factory pre-coated with white acrylic primer. Note that Polure interior bases are strictly decorative non-load-bearing components; structural column loads must be supported by an internal steel profile. Never pour concrete inside. Installation requires applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on contact joints (silicone is strictly forbidden) and securing with countersunk mechanical screws. Fill screw holes with putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and apply two coats of paint.
