Rustic Foam Rafter Head

Polure rustic foam rafter heads bring authentic old-world timber tail architecture, rustic roof overhang accents, and rugged aesthetic appeal to exterior facades without the structural load or decay risks of natural wood. Precision-molded from real hand-carved timber logs using high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these rafter tails capture deep rustic grain while offering wood-like durability at an ultra-lightweight mass. Formulated with a non-porous closed-cell matrix, water absorption is strictly under 1%, ensuring the rafter tails will never rot, warp, split, or harbor wood-boring insects under outdoor roof exposure (-100 °C / +80 °C). Classified under fire class B2, each piece is delivered pre-treated with a white acrylic primer. Installation is executed using continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on rear contact surfaces paired with mechanical countersunk screws. Fill screw holes with facade putty and finish with elastic UV-resistant exterior paint.
