Ceiling Wall Junction Profile

The ceiling wall junction profile by Polure creates a seamless architectural bridge between wall surfaces and ceiling planes while concealing subtle joint imperfections. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this crown moulding alternative offers wood-like mechanical toughness without adding heavy dead load to ceiling structures. Its closed-cell structure keeps water absorption under 1%, making it completely immune to rotting, swelling, or mold growth in high-humidity areas like bathrooms and kitchens. Certified Class B2 for fire safety, it resists thermal expansion across -100 °C / +80 °C without shrinkage or warping. The profile comes pre-primed with a factory white acrylic technical coating ready for topcoat painting. Installation involves clean dry surfaces, precise 45° miter cuts made with a fine-tooth saw, continuous PU assembly adhesive on all contact edges, and mechanical countersunk screws. Fill screw recesses with acrylic putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and paint.
